Hair RePear To Stop Dreaded Frizz!

https://www.hairrepear.com

What the hell have I been doing to my hair?!?

I firmly believed I was cursed with a frizzy mess for hair; hair that could only be tamed by heat and dominance.  Only to find that that’s not my hair at all and that I’ve been abusing it all these years!  I ALWAYS wrapped my hair in a towel after washing, because that’s what all the commercials and ads said to do.  Then I got grown up and I bought the fancy smancy microfiber hair turban in fancy smancy colors and thought I was alllll cool.

LIES!

Nothing but lies all these years and my hair has paid the ultimate, unfair price.

Whether your hair is curly or straight, wavy or not – a t-shirt is all it takes to prevent frizz & damage.

Yes, you heard me correctly, A T-SHIRT!

Here’s the problem & the solution  - “Terry cloth and microfiber loops and grooves become aggressors to the hair cuticles roughing it up and removing to much moisture. This causes flyaways, breaks, and dreaded frizz!  The solution to the problem is to use a t-shirt because the smooth fabric does not frizz and break the hair.”

So freaking simple and it’s been in my wardrobe my entire life!

Yes, you could use a straight up t-shirt, but how do you wrap it and hold it in place and what about the sleeves and the pockets and the graphics, yadda yadda.

Save yourself the hassle and invest $20 for your hair peace of mind and get yourself the Hair RePear T-Shirt Towel!  Made from the finest premium quality 100% Cotton Interlock Fabric available right here in the USA!  The Hair RePear ultimate t-shirt hair towel is designed to be large enough for wrapping, scrunching, and plopping/plunking (if you don’t know what this is, check out YouTube, it will blow your mind!).

There are two sizes - 29x45 for long hair and 19x39 for short hair.  I will say I went for the larger size and it’s a little too big – but I’d rather have too much fabric than not enough.  Also, this little wonder towel comes in two colors – white & black.  After reading many reviews, I opted for the black; as the white didn’t look so great after freshly dyed hair.

You could buy directly from Hair RePear, but you know me, Amazon is where all the cool peeps shop!

May you never suffer with frizz again…

Check it out!

Doc: May I Be Frank?

http://mayibefrankmovie.com/May I Be Frank?  Please don't.

This doc started out on a good note...Frank Ferrante wonders into San Francisco, Café Gratitude, a raw, organic and vegan café.  After befriending some of the staff and confiding that he is a drug addict, is morbidly obese, is pre-diabetic, and is fighting Hepatitis C the boys decide to take Frank under their wing for 42 days and coach him physically, emotionally and spiritually.  Frank goes on to eat only raw food, practices gratitude, visits local holistic practitioners, and gets a weekly colonic.

That all sounded great, but the doc failed to deliver on any inspirational level and it wasn't even clear if Frank gained anything from his experience as he ended up with a drug overdose sometime after.  In fact, towards the middle, the doc took a very dark tone and never quite recovered.

Frankly, I wouldn't recommend this film to anyone.

Hoff's Easy Quesadillas

Hoff's Easy Quesadillas
Servings: 12 Quesadillas
meat-free, dairy-free, egg-free, oil-free, soy-free, gluten-free

Ingredients:
  • 16 oz. can fat-free vegetarian Re-fried Beans
  • 24 Corn Tortillas
  • Nutritional Yeast
Directions:
  1. Spread Beans onto Corn Tortilla
  2. Sprinkle with Nutritional Yeast
  3. Place another Corn Tortilla on top
  4. Heat through using a non-stick pan over medium-high heat, flipping once one side is browned
  5. Serve with Salsa

Hoff Thoughts: Personally, I use a Cuisinart Griddler for this, it's quicker and I love the little grill marks.  I also don't consumer 12 of these at a time, it's a bit much; but that's how much one can of Beans provides.  I'd say 4-6 Quesadillas per person gets the job done for one sitting and refrigerate the rest of the Beans for another meal.

    Hoff's Raw "Alfredo" Sauce

    Hoff's Raw "Alfredo" Sauce
    Yields: About 3 Cups
    meat-free, dairy-free, egg-free, oil-free, soy-free, gluten-free

    Ingredients:
    • 2 cups Cauliflower Rice
    • 1 cup Water
    • Juice from 1/2 Lemon
    • 1 clove of Garlic
    • 2 tbsp. Hemp Seed
    • 1 tsp. Onion Powder
    • 1 tsp. Sea Salt
    • Pinch of Nutmeg
    • Pepper to taste

    Directions:
    1. Using a Vitamix, blend all ingredients together 3-4 minutes to heat through
    2. Serve over pasta, veggies, etc.

Hoff Thoughts: When eating raw, food should not exceed 118 degrees.  A Vitamix should raise the temperature of food 10 degrees every minute it is run. However, my Vitamix runs hotter; it's a good practice to use a meat thermometer to test how hot this sauce gets based on how long you run your machine.  Three minutes for me = 115 degrees.
