Hoff Hit: Baked Potatoes

Place potatoes directly on the oven rack (peels on of course) for a crispy outer experience.  No foil needed!

400 degrees for one hour should do it.

  1. SO GLAD someone else does potatoes this way. And they don't need to be skewered as if your life depended on it (although I think some find daggering a defenseless potato some kind of psycic release). Just a few fork-pricks through the skin (NOT halfway through the potato!) is enough. I like to rub them with a little olive oil and sprinkle with sea salt.
