Michigan Event: Food For Life Plus Retreat

Got plans for Mother's Day weekend?

How about treating yourself or taking your mom to a weekend getaway to a Bed & Breakfast where you will spend your time cooking healthy recipes, learning ways to avoid chronic disease and hear motivational presentations on living a healthier life.  Who couldn't use all that?  If you've been wanting to improve your diet, this is a perfect jump start!

This retreat is being hosted by Jill Ovnik (a.k.a. Vegan Gal).

Who is Jill and why should you listen to her?  "She is a certified food educator and culinary instructor for The Cancer Project, a non-for profit organization based in Washington D.C. Jill is one of 96 instructors nationwide to teach the  Food For Life curriculum for cancer prevention and survival."

What to expect:

"Your own cookbook from which we make all the healthy recipes, fun in the kitchen cooking with friends, learning potentially life-saving information to prevent major chronic diseases, motivating presentations by Jill, beautiful Retreat surroundings steps from North BEACH, time to relax and rejuvenate, my personal guarantee to go home changed for the better!" - Jill Ovnik, "Food For Life"

I have been dying to get to one of theses retreats for years.  I was so close this year, until my mother pulled the old "I don't cook." routine (sigh).
